Hello Tumblr

Here’s Dry The Rivers first EP, No Rest. After a huge summer of non-stop festivals the action continues with sell out gigs at Scala and New Slang in Kingston. DTR are creating a lot of hype with their folkish, rocky, punk-edged songs full of huge melodies and soft touches and are becoming a must see live act. With an album set to be released early in 2012 they are one of my bands for 2012.

Rizzle Kicks showing that Brit School does work with their latest release - down with the trumpets. These guys are exploding in the UK and having played the BBC introducing stage at Radio One’s Big Weekend their name is beginning to grow. Sell-out shows and festival performances to come this summer. I predict big things for these two.

Below is the official Favorite Albums of 2010 list. These are albums that I never stopped listening to over the course of the year and had a lot of meaningful, emotional connections with. It goes without saying that I would recommend any of these albums to anyone who hasn’t already listened to them.

If you missed it, don’t miss the Honorable Mentions list!

Also, if you choose to check out any of these albums or artists, please remember to support the artist if you like their music! Buy the record, go to a show, send them a blank check, whatever it is you want to do!

Anyway, get to the list already!
